Muscarello Announces Retirement From Hood Memorial Hospital

Frank Muscarello has announced that he will retire as Radiology Director of Hood Memorial Hospital effective February 28, 2019.

On behalf of our Board of Commissioners and employees, I want to thank Frank for his more than four decades of service to Hood Memorial Hospital and its community,” shares Hood Memorial Hospital CEO, Michael Whittington.

Muscarello’s retirement marks the end of a life-long commitment to Hood Memorial Hospital and the patients he has served.  His 47 years of dedication and devotion has been evident, and our hospital family will certainly miss his presence.

Muscarello observes, “Its’s hard to believe that so many years have gone by so fast.  I am excited and looking forward to retiring, but I do regret leaving the place that has been like my home for so long.  I’ve met so many wonderful, friendly people in Amite and the surrounding area, and hope to continue the friendships that were made.”
